This Zoom feature is designed to provide that propulsive feel you need to break through the back line and go for goal. As a result, this is the most responsive Mercurial ever assembled. Enjoy amplified touch with an upper made of NikeSkin with embedded chevrons, which help provide ball control and a feeling of barefoot soccer.

Traction where and when you need it most: A wave-like traction pattern is composed of a series of cascading studs. It engages more surface area of the Air Zoom unit, while providing the necessary amount of grip. In terms of height, the biggest stud is the same height as the traditional middle studs — therefore, traction isn’t compromised. Nike paired the wave-like pattern with evolved chevron and blade studs, which improve deceleration and quick cut abilities.

Nike also upgraded the stretch mesh from the previous generation of Mercurial, creating an adaptable knit that brings a lot to the table: flexibility, support, and a close-to-the-ball feeling.
