Major news outlets report that LAFC are set to land a global star: Tottenham Hotspur forward Son Heung‑min. On August 6 2025, the club confirmed it had signed the 33‑year‑old South Korea captain from Tottenham for a transfer fee of about 26.5 million dollars, the largest incoming transfer in Major League Soccer history.
