Bow bells are ringing for the claret and blue. Tradition has it that to be a true cockney you must be born within the sound of bow bells. These are the bells of St. Mary-le-Bow church in East London.

The 2024/25 West Ham Home jersey, the "Cockney kit", has a subtle print of St. Mary-le-Bow on the front panel. West Ham is located in Stratford, within earshot of the bells, whose first recorded ringing was in 1469.
