Nike artificial ground soccer cleats are built for 3G and 4G synthetic pitches with shorter, evenly distributed AG-Pro studs that reduce joint stress on firmer surfaces. This collection covers Mercurial for speed, Phantom for touch, and Tiempo for comfort across Elite and Pro tiers.
It is the retail label for Nike's Elite and Pro artificial grass plates. Nike's own product names call them Artificial-Grass.
Nike builds AG for longer artificial grass and FG for dry, natural grass, so pick the plate that matches the surface you play on most.
Nike AG cleats carry an artificial grass plate, which Nike designs for longer artificial grass. Nike explains that Artificial Ground cleats suit relatively hard surfaces, so their conical studs are a bit shorter, and that this modified stud pattern reduces pressure points on harder synthetic turf. Nike describes its AG plate as designed for modern synthetic fields, while firm ground is built for dry, natural grass.
Each Nike plate is matched to a surface. Firm ground (FG) cleats use molded studs for dry, natural-grass fields. Multi-ground (MG) cleats use one plate for natural and synthetic surfaces, and you can browse them in our multi ground cleats collection. Turf (TF) shoes have smaller, shorter studs on a rubber outsole for turf fields and some hard ground. If you play most of your soccer on modern artificial grass, an AG plate is the one built for it.
For natural grass, choose our firm ground soccer cleats, and for turf fields and harder ground, see our Nike turf soccer shoes.
This collection currently holds three adult AG-Pro models from earlier Nike generations, two of them marked down. The Nike Zoom Superfly 10 Elite AG-Pro and Nike Zoom Superfly 9 Elite AG-Pro are Mercurial speed cleats. The Nike Legend 10 Pro AG-Pro comes from the Tiempo Legend 10 generation, the last in the Legend line, which Nike ended in 2025 before releasing the Tiempo Maestro and Ligera in January 2026.

For 2026, Nike offers AG versions of the Mercurial Superfly 11 and Vapor 17 (both released in June 2026), the Phantom 6, and the Tiempo Maestro and Ligera, across its Elite, Pro, and Academy tiers. On its current Mercurial and Tiempo Maestro AG models, Nike says the studs are hollowed out for better traction on harder synthetic surfaces, with additional forefoot studs to help you change speed.
These newer models are not in this collection right now. Club-tier Nike cleats come in multi-ground rather than AG. Browse Mercurial cleats across every plate in our Nike Mercurial soccer cleats, or AG cleats from every brand in our artificial ground soccer cleats.
Nike describes the Mercurial as a snug fit and suggests half a size up if you prefer a looser fit, so wide feet may find it restrictive. Nike points players with wide feet toward the Phantom and Tiempo, and says Tiempo's TECHLEATHER upper adapts to the shape of your foot, though it lists the current Tiempo Maestro Elite AG as fitting small. Check each product's sizing notes before you buy.
